Reconnect Trauma Recovery Clinic provides Day Treatment, Intensive Outpatient, and individualized outpatient trauma programs for trauma, mood disorders, dissociative disorders and secondary eating disorder, or all types of addictions.
We strongly believe that underneath various mental health diseases there is untreated trauma. At our trauma treatment center in Pacific Palisades CA, we treat trauma in a gentle and effective way by utilizing an integrative body-mind approach.
Our emphasis on integrating somatic therapies into each client’s treatment is to reconnect the body and mind which allows healing and transformation to take place.
Our Trauma Recovery Clinic is independently owned and run by Dr. Karol Darsa, who is actively involved in every client’s treatment.
Highly Trained Staff
Clients, under the direct supervision of leading trauma expert and founder of Reconnect Center, Dr. Karol Darsa, PsyD, will be seen by registered associates and psychological assistants. Our structured outpatient programming offers a morning track or an evening track. Our Morning track is from 9 am-1 pm, Monday through Saturday, and our Evening track is from 3 pm-7 pm, Monday through Saturday.

We offer various levels of care through the Trauma Recovery Clinic, including:
Day Treatment Program (DTP)
(25 hours per week)
This program is a step below hospitalization. The day treatment program allows clients to maintain daily commitments while resolving trauma symptoms that interfere with their ability to fully participate in life. This program is 25 hours a week with 6 hours of individual and 19 hours of group sessions.
Intensive Outpatient I (IOPI)
(15 hours per week)
Intensive outpatient I is a highly structured program which provides three hours of daily therapy Monday through Friday. This program is suited for individuals seeking consistent daily structure while going to work or school. It offers the benefits of 4 hours of individual and 11 hours of group sessions per week.
Intensive Outpatient II (IOPII)
(9 hours per week)
The intensive outpatient II program offers 3 hours of structured therapy on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. This program is ideal for individuals who would benefit from the structure of 3 hours of individual and 6 hours of group therapy per week but may have outside commitments.

At Reconnect, we encourage family participation in outpatient treatment, as is appropriate. We also encourage parents and spouses to participate in their own outpatient therapy, for which we can provide referrals. Our clients benefit from substantial of help and support. Their supporters must have someone who is educated about trauma to help and support them.
